What if the ancient world never thought of sharing their discovery of making fire?
What if the early medicine men decided to hold on to the knowledge and not teach another what they had learnt?
What if the past civilisations refused to impart the knowledge they gathered to the next?
What kind of a world would it be?
What if Alexander Graham Bell decided to monopolise the telephone or Thomas Alva Edison kept the light bulb to himself?
What if scientists of one country refused to share treatment with another ?
And what if teachers didn't teach but monopolised knowledge?
What would happen to existence as we know it?
I wonder if being strong and rich and healthy gives us the right to goad over those who aren't...
I wonder if we have earned the right to celebrate in the face of all pervasive gloom...
I wonder if we have sold our soul to have access to physical wealth and worldly pleasures...
Are our ways correct? Or are the ones who give up their lives for an absolute stranger really foolish?
What have we done to deserve all the good that comes our way? And instead of counting our privileges and thanking God for it is it alright to think that we earned it or that it's our right?
